Gladys (Mrs. Jesse)  M. Deloe

Gladys Deloe was born in a farming community in Western New York. Her parents were Christians and she became a Christ-follower at the age of nine. She attended Bryan College in Tennessee, where she met Jesse; they married in 1956. The Deloes have two married sons and four grandchildren

Gladys served as a ministry wife during Jesse’s years as a pastor and administrator in the Grace Brethren Fellowship of churches. During most of that time, she taught piano. For eight years, she served as manager and hostess of White Hill Manor, here in Warsaw. When Jesse was Assistant to the President at Grace Schools, she enrolled there as a senior, graduating proudly at the age of 50, with a Behavior Science/Counseling major. Presently, she continues her Reflexology Massage Therapy practice. She hosts a CareGivers’ Support group at her church and a Post-Polio Support Group in the Community. Perhaps her most important ministry is prayer.

Mrs. Deloe, has served as a leader in women’s and children’s ministries and authored leadership materials for women in ministry and Women of Grace USA. She has also written Kids With Character Sunday School materials and The LifeTime Learning Curriculum, a K-12, life skills curriculum for children in poverty,  especially designed to prepare children to become productive citizens.  In 2010, she founded grace in ACTION usa, a non-profit, which published and distributed The LifeTime Learning Curriculum. In 2014, she was presented the Heart of Gold Award by the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
